Since 2006, Lelystad inspired me to nature approach. Acanthus grows along the water in the months of May to late autumn. This beautiful but terribly danger flower, has repeatedly invited me to paint. The space in the fields and the water gives it floral artistry that I wanted to translate. Painting gives less trancience but again the beauty of the time when this plant blooms.
